As Corporate Sponsor Coordinator for the 2009 Relay For Life of Newtown, I would like you to consider participating as a Corporate Sponsor of our event scheduled for Saturday, June 13th through Sunday, June 14th, 2009.
We are sure that like all of us and countless others in our community, you have experienced family or friends faced with cancer. The American Cancer Society (ACS) Relay For Life represents the hope that those lost to cancer will never be forgotten, that those who face cancer will be supported, and that one day cancer will be eliminated. As ACS’s signature event, Relay For Life offers everyone in the community an opportunity to participate in the fight against cancer.
Because of the dedication and generosity of our community, the 2008 Relay For Life of Newtown raised in excess of $420,000. Over four thousand people filled the Newtown High School Stadium. With even greater participation and attendance expected for the 2009 event, our sixth year in a new location, this is a great opportunity to promote your business while supporting our worthy cause. Through our Track Sponsor Boards and Relay For Life of Newtown website we will be sure to inform the community of your corporation’s generous support. In addition, we will run a one- page advertisement in the Newtown Bee identifying all our corporate sponsors to the community. Finally, further promotional opportunities are provided for higher-level sponsors. ~ Janelle Graham
